I don't know about you, but whenever I watch The Young and The Restless I want to have a snack. However at the current time I am attempting to be more health smart so I try not to grab the 3lb box of Cheez-its out of the cabinet and try to find a more healthy substitute. Today it was a salad, thought I'd share my mix as well as my prediction since it was so off.
Salad sized plate of fresh baby spinach (or lettuce, just not a fan personally)
1 Roma Tomato (sliced)
5 chopped baby carrots
1 oz of fresh mozzorella cheese (or shredded, we all have a budget)
2-3 oz Left over chicken (any type you have in the fridge, minus the bones)
Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil Mix (mix equal parts in a bottle you can keep together, makes a great marinade as well)
top off with a few dried cranberries (sounds strange, taste great)
sea salt, Ms. Dash and or pepper to taste (if desired)
Plate all together, grab your napkin and fork and tune in to Y and R at www.theyandr.blogspot.com
