The Young and The Restless Monday started with a bang!
For those of us who suffered a March Madness Y and R withdrawal fit I must say that Mondays episode is packed with excitement. While I knew from the previous clip that I posted that Kevin would pull a gun on Amber. I had no idea that Jenna would suffer a breakdown of the brain or that Katherine had left behind her ring.
However I must admit that Amber is slowly turning into one of my favorite characters on Y and R. I did not like her when she was on the Bold and the Beautiful or when she first showed up on Y and R. BUT I must give credit where credit is due, I don't know that very many people can do crazy and over dramatic as well as her.
What will happen next? Will they be able to bring Kevin back from the dark side or will he slip deeper into his darkness when he finds out that Jana is ill? Will Amber make it out of this disaster or will her and Kevin be gunned down trying to escape? Why does the Young and the Restless only last an hour? So much suspense so little time.

Jeanne Cooper loving known as Katherine Chancellor turns 80
Born Wilma Jeanne Cooper, October 25, 1928 in Taft, California, our dear friend lovingly known to us as Katherine Chancellor celebrated 80 years of life.
For most of us, we have grown up watching her battle alcoholism, handle Chancellor Industries, reunite with her former nemesis turned daughter (perhaps) Jill Foster Abbott and out last any man that she ever loved (careful Murphy, hopefully Jill won't fall in love with you too!)
She and Victor Newman are what many of us associate with The Young and The Restless. She has truly lived her life in front of many of us, to include having her real life face-lift written into The Y and R script. Regardless of all obstacles placed in front of her in her role, she always survives and keeps her grace and integrity in tact. However her on screen life is a small feat in comparison to the real life mother and grandmother who has maintained her career for so long and has reached her 80th Birthday.
Jeanne Cooper is the mother of three children, actor Corbin Bernsen, formerly of L.A. Law born September 7, 1954 who is married to British actress Amanda Pays. Actor, Collin Bernsen, born March 30, 1958, and one daughter, Caren born August 17, 1960 who is also an actress. Corbin and Amanda have also given her the lead role as a Grandmother to Oliver Miller (born 1989), twins Henry and Angus (born 1992), and Finley (born 1998)
From all of your fans who think of you ever so fondly, Happy Belated Birthday!!! In a time where 20 year olds can barely remember their phones numbers, I am even more impressed by your ability to portray Katherine Chancellor so diligently for such a long time.
